Irina Shayk, Blanca Padilla, Romee Strijd and Cindy Bruna will be part of a star-studded cast of models at the most eagerly awaited bridal fashion show of the year!
Barcelona, 28 April 2015 – PRONOVIAS, the leading bridal sector firm, will present the new Atelier Pronovias collection on 8 May at a unique catwalk show to take place at the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya (MNAC), bringing Barcelona Bridal Week to close.
Irina Shayk, Blanca Padilla, Romee Strijd & Cindy Bruna and other international top models will appear in a glamorous cast at this fashion show in a unique setting, which is one of the most influential fashion events held in Barcelona. The catwalk show is an opportunity for guests to see the latest trends in bridal fashion.
The Atelier Pronovias 2016 collection for the coming season has been handcrafted with superb quality fabrics, clean cut designs, pared-down shapes and light skirts, as well as new textiles such as mikado, organza and silk satin, piqué and crepe.
Chantilly lace has been applied to crystal tulle in some designs to create a magical tattoo effect on the skin. This new technique was developed in the Pronovias workshop and is set to be a trend that will take the world by storm next season.
When it comes to the Pronovias 2016 collection, it features wide skirts and sheer layers of crystal tulle, with the nude shade used on the bodices of many of the designs. Next season there will be numerous separates to choose from, allowing brides to mix and match fantasy mikado or tulle skirts with different blouses and bodices. This offers them the flexibility to create totally personalised combinations.
Two thousand guests of more than 80 nationalities will be at this not-to-be-missed event, with clients from the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Russia, Libya, Kazajistan, Peru and Panama; the Spanish and international press, national and international celebrities and famous faces from Spanish society on the guest list.
