PRONOVIAS 2014
PRONOVIAS, the world leader in wedding gowns, dazzled their 1,800 guests last week during the famous Barcelona Bridal week. The fashion show, held in the Oval Hall of the Museu Nacional Art de Catalunya (MNAC) in Barcelona, showcased the Collections 2014 Pronovias, Atelier Pronovias and Elie by Elie Saab.
The theme of the fashion show was First Love, with a stage design representing a nursery in which the models were the flowers.
The show opened with the appearance of two children, Patricia Arbus and Rodrigo Espinar, who were followed by the models, including Irina Shayk, Valentina Zeliaeva and Josephine Skriver. Jon Kortajarena and Anne Vyalistina placed the finishing touch to the surprising ‘love story’ presented in this great show.
Beautiful classic-cut dresses with large skirts looked fresh and modern in precious silks and French lace. Exquisite work with other materials such as rebrod and chantilly lace, tulle, garza silk and taffeta, created unique pieces in which the back of the dresses also takes centre stage, covered by sinuous transparent fabrics, lace or gemstone embroideries.
