Catherine Middleton sets new trends with her wedding look

The mystery is over! As much predicted Sarah Burton, the creative director for Alexander McQueen’s house, having the privilege to design Catherine Middleton’s wedding dress. The result is elegantly stunning! Catherine Middleton looked beautiful and truthfully like a princess. Her natural elegance delighted the audience and in particular her husband Prince William. The white and ivory wedding dress in satin gazar, reportedly designed between the bride and the designer, is a V-neck with lace appliqué on long sleeves, bodice and train.

The skirt resembled an opening flower embroidered with decorative roses, thistles, daffodil and shamrock, the four floral emblems of the United Kingdom. The Veil in ivory silk tulle, held in place by a Cartier Halo Tiara, her ‘Something Borrowed, lent by Queen Elizabeth, was cut in a simple shape decorated with a trim of hand embroidered flowers, gave Catherine Middleton a feminine and timeless look. Her delicate drop diamond earrings, a gift from her parents, her Something New were ideal and gracefully complemented her wedding look.

Catherine Middleton’s shoes were also handcrafted by Alexander McQueen’s team, in ivory duchess satin with hand-embroidered lace by the Royal School of Needlework.

Her Something Blue was a blue ribbon sewn into the interior of her dress. We loved the small & simple bouquet in green and white colours which was set in a shield shape with sweet William flowers, myrtle, lily-of-the-valley and hyacinth. New trends are about to be set in the Bridal world.
